Metering pumps are a type of pump whose purpose is to inject a liquid (in swimming pools it is usually to inject a reducing agent, pH increaser or liquid chlorine) into a fluid line. There are two types of dosing pumps: peristaltic pumps and diaphragm pumps. There are also models that allow you to control the parameter of the product you are dosing, i.e. control the ph level or control the chlorine level
