Supply of gresite
HISBALIT tile is supplied in 33.33 x 33.33 cm slabs, depending on the format chosen, with the pieces joined using HT-K technology.
The tesserae are glued together by means of an additive thermo-polymer bead, which in turn forms a grid. The material is visible when laid. It is the most resistant system, since it guarantees the union of all the pieces together and an extra adherence to the surface by means of the reticule formed by the silicone cord. System recommended for all types of applications.

Preparation prior to the installation of HT-K gresite:
Surface preparation:
To achieve good adhesion to the substrate, it must be completely free of dust, grease, paint, efflorescence, grout, plaster residue, or any other substance that may impair the adhesion of the mosaic. The ideal substrate is a fine render with water-repellent mortar. Both vertical surfaces and floors must be perfectly leveled and smoothed.
It is advisable to use a specific tile adhesive cement for zero absorption products, with mixed and deformable binders. We recommend cementitious adhesives that comply with EN 12004 and EN 12002 C2TES1 standards.
Grouting
We recommend a cementitious-based grout for fine joints, without aggregate, deformable, water-repellent and stain-resistant, complying with the UNE-EN 13888 CG2W standard. All adhesive manufacturers also have a range of colored grouts
Necessary material for the placement of the gresite:
- Toothed trowel with fine tooth of 3 mm.
