how does the salt chlorinator work?

The pool water must first be slightly salty after adding 4 to 7 g/l of salt (salinity 10 times lower than sea water). electrolysis is carried out by the cell inserted in the filtration circuit. this operation releases ions which sterilise the pool water. these ions are then recombined to form salt again and the cycle starts again.

the undeniable advantages of salt electrolysis. a method as efficient as chlorine, but without the disadvantages

• the handling of chlorinated products,
• too high a concentration of chlorine

The salt electrolysis method has all the oxidising, bactericidal and anti-algae properties of chlorine. it ensures a shock treatment thanks to the perfect concentration of disinfectant contained in the cell.

A very pleasant bath

Nothing more pleasant than a bath without irritation of the eyes and skin, in natural, slightly salty water, just like tears, a device of simple design for maximum efficiency:

• a control box, which powers the direct current cell. it is equipped with safety systems (lack of water, lack of salt,...)
• a cell with titanium plates (anodes and cathodes) which ensure the electrolysis. for the lime which tends to deposit on the plates, the devices are equipped with a polarity inverter and therefore become self-cleaning.

A simple installation, an easy maintenance in order to allow a regular disinfection of the water, these devices must be started at the same time as the filtration of the pool. in wintering period, the device must be switched off. these devices can be equipped with a ph regulator. the last generation has a system which automatically reduces the production when the pool is covered with an automatic cover.
