Turbidimeter Lovibond Turbicheck
The TurbiCheck is a portable device for the analysis of turbidity tests. Its technology is based on DIN EN ISO 7027 - Water quality - Determination of turbidity. The automatic measuring range recognition (Auto Range) allows the direct determination of turbidity within the measuring range of 0.01 to 1100 NTU/NFU.
The compact turbidity measuring instrument with infrared TurbiCheck for fast and exact analysis on site. It measures scattered light at an angle of 90° as specified in EN ISO 7027.
This product complies with UNE-ISO 17381.
A wide measuring range from 0.01 to 1100 TE/F = NTU = FNU with a detection limit of 0.01 NTU allows the use of this instrument in various applications, from drinking water to waste water.
By measuring in the infrared spectrum it is possible to analyse samples with or without staining. The TB 211 IR allows you to easily set up a direct data transfer to a PC via the USB connector.
Legal Regulations
As you may know, the new Royal Decree 742/2013 has been published in the BOE nº 244 of 11 October 2013, which establishes the new technical-sanitary criteria for swimming pools and which came into force on 11 December 2013.
To facilitate the information we summarise the most relevant points, which we hope will be of interest to you:
-Newly built public swimming pools and those that need to be renovated are obliged to install a semi-automatic or automatic water treatment system (art. 7 of the Decree).
-In order to comply with the air and water quality criteria (art.10) Annex 1 of the Royal Decree, two parameters to be monitored will be increased: water turbidity and CO2 level.
-The Royal Decree states that in 2015, all maintenance personnel must be accredited to check and measure the air and water parameters required by the Royal Decree, and the equipment used to carry out the controls must comply with the UNE-ISO 17381 standard.
