Operation

The Blue Lagoon Timer UV-C 4ALL with DUPLEX stainless steel housing is suitable for both chlorinated pools and saltwater pools (electrolysis), hence the addition of the term "4ALL". In addition to the highly corrosion-resistant DUPLEX stainless steel housing, the Blue Lagoon Timer UV-C 4ALL features an integrated timer that precisely monitors the number of operating hours. Amalgam lamp

why use an Ultraviolet system?

UV-C light is a very powerful germicide, highly effective in eliminating microorganisms that chlorine treatments are not able to eliminate by themselves.

However, UV-C cannot be used alone, since, although UV light performs a large part of the disinfection of the water, there are always contaminating microorganisms left in the pool.

However, the use of other types of disinfectants would be in a much lower percentage than what would normally be used, since, as mentioned above, much of the disinfection would be carried out by the ultraviolet lamp.

Mainly, the great advantage over chlorine or similar treatments is that since it is not a chemical product, it avoids the problems that the chemical product entails, such as irritation of eyes, skin and nose, breathing difficulties in children, unpleasant odor, as well as damage to pool liners.
