The cell of the Teap Saliclor L salt chlorinator is a self-cleaning cell consisting of an expanded Titanium mesh plate with Ru/Ir coating.

The lifetime of the cell is approximately 7,500 hours (well water in the pool can drastically reduce the lifetime of the electrode).

The cell can withstand a maximum pressure of 7.5 kg/cm2 and a working temperature of between 10ºC and 45ºC.
