Technical characteristics
Checker Hanna free chlorine analyzer HI7014

The HANNA HI7014 free chlorine checker is a digital colorimeter for chlorine testing. With the HI7014 chlorine meter you can easily, accurately and cost-effectively measure free chlorine. Free chlorine is the active form of chlorine used to disinfect drinking water, swimming pools and spas.
The benefits of chlorine on water are many, and it is precisely these benefits that make the use of this product so important in drinking water tanks and pool maintenance. First of all, we must emphasize that it is a powerful germicide since it reduces the level of pathogenic microorganisms in the water to levels that are almost impossible to measure. Chlorination allows the control of taste and odors reducing them, this is because chlorine oxidizes substances that occur naturally, we refer to the secretions of smelly algae and odors of vegetation that is in the process of decomposition; chlorine gives the water odorless attributes and favorably modifies its taste.
how is it used?
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI701 provides fast and accurate results in a few simple steps:
STEP 1. Zero the checker with your water sample.
STEP 2. Add reagent to the cuvette.
STEP 3. Insert the cuvette into the Checker.
STEP 4. Press the button and read the results.

Hanna Checker HI 779 Drinking Water/Pool pH Analyzer
The pocket ph meter, Checker HANNA HI779, is a digital colorimeter for measuring pH between 6.5 and 8.5 in swimming pools, hot tubs and spas.
It uses a light source and a photodetector to determine the pH using the phenol red method, with the same liquid reagent used in a photometer. It does not require the calibrations of a pH meter, only its verification with the HI779-11 certified standard.
- The ease of a chemical test kit without the maintenance of traditional pH meters.
- Accurate and simple measurements.
- Direct display of the pH value on the screen.
- Possibility of verifying the measurement with a standard.
