Salt chlorination is a reliable, efficient and cost-effective method, especially adapted to the treatment of swimming pools. Through a process of electrolysis, chlorine (oxidizing agent) is generated naturally, avoiding the need to handle, transport and store chemical products. It is also a renewable chemical process, so it will only be necessary to add a certain amount of salt at the start-up of the pool and replenish the amount lost due to filter washings, rain, etc.
