Cyclonic suction
Its patented cyclonic suction system provides more powerful and long-lasting suction. The helical-shaped brushes and progressive dual-level filtration enable more effective suction of debris.
During the cleaning cycle, a conventional electric pool cleaner tends to become clogged, thus losing its suction power.
To solve this problem, Zodiac engineers have developed and patented cyclonic suction technology, a high-performance system that prevents filter clogging and maintains total efficiency:
A vortex keeps the vacuumed debris in suspension in a permanent cyclonic motion. The power of the vortex prevents fine debris from sticking to the filter walls and prevents it from accumulating on the filter walls.
The ZODIAC 40 XA iQ is equipped with 3 motors. Two motion motors and one suction motor, which greatly improves the performance of the equipment to ensure efficient pool cleaning.
Easy handling
Thanks to the iAqualink App, different functions of the pool cleaner can be controlled remotely from your smartphone. The remote control function allows you to adjust the cycle time and monitor the cleaning progress, controlling both the start and stop of the equipment at any time, as well as adjusting the cycle time. * The correct operation of the equipment cannot be guaranteed both on the bottom and on the rise of the walls if the pH level is not correct or if there is algae or the filters are clogged by excess dust, and if the pool has not been thoroughly cleaned beforehand. No pool cleaner will clean steps and benches properly.
* The cleaning of right angles and corners cannot be 100% guaranteed due to the complexity of access to these areas. In liner pools, 100% cleaning cannot be guaranteed in the overlaps of the liner itself.

The cable becomes twisted very easily and needs constant straightening. This stops the robot getting to all areas of the pool. I had a carrera 30 before was good to clean all areas Im not sure this cleans all the walls as it does not have side thrust
